The Development of Guided Inquiry Learning Model
on the Theme Always Save on Energy


This study is a research and development which aims to produce a learning plan in the form of thematic learning syllabus and lesson plans thematic guided inquiry learning model based on the theme Always Save On Energy by combining the subjects of Science, Indonesian and Culture Arts and Crafts. This study uses a 4D Model by Thiagarajan according to the stages of definition, design, develop and disseminate. The subjects were fourth grade student of ... 2, ... 3 and ... Elementary School residing in the District Orchid group Rajapolah, Tasikmalaya. The technique of collecting data using questionnaires, observation, documentation studies, tests and non-test with instruments in the form of a questionnaire sheet of learning models commonly used fourth grade teacher, sheet expert of validation, feasibility study observation sheet, sheet questionnaire responses of student and teacher as well as the evaluation of learning outcomes. Results of research conducted three trials showed that planning has developed learning fulfills the validity, practicality and effectiveness. Aspects of validity is shown by the validation of 4.57 thematic learning syllabus and lesson plans thematic guided inquiry learning model by 4.47 including the excellent category. Seen practicality aspect of feasibility study in ... 2 at 3.80, ... 3 for 3.80 and ... Elementary School of 3.86 which indicates an increase. Effectiveness aspects of student learning outcomes seen with normal calculation gain ... 2 at 40.74%, ... 3 at 43.30% and 46.67% for ... Elementary School category quite effective. Overall the school gives each student response and the response of teacher agreed by 90.60% are very effective to be applied in learning activities.

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) yang bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perencanaan pembelajaran berupa silabus pembelajaran tematik dan RPP tematik berdasarkan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing pada tema Selalu Berhemat Energi dengan memadukan mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan  Alam, Bahasa Indonesia dan Seni Budaya dan Prakarya. Penelitian ini  menggunakan model 4D menurut Thiagarajan dengan tahapan  Pendefinisian (Define), tahap Perancangan (Design), tahap Pengembangan (Develop) dan tahap Penyebaran (Disseminate). Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN ... 2, SDN ... 3 dan SDN ... yang berada di gugus Anggrek Kecamatan Rajapolah Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, observasi, studi dokumtasi, tes dan nontes dengan instrumen berupa lembar angket model pembelajaran yang biasa digunakan guru kelas IV SD, lembar validasi ahli, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, lembar angket respon siswa dan guru serta evaluasi hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan sebanyak tiga kali uji coba menunjukkan bahwa perencaan pembelajaran yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi aspek kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan. Aspek kevalidan ditunjukkan oleh validasi silabus pembelajaran tematik sebesar 4,57 dan RPP tematik model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing sebesar 4,47 termasuk kategori sangat baik. Aspek kepraktisan dilihat dari keterlaksanaan pembelajaran di SDN ... 2 sebesar 3,80 , SDN ... 3 sebesar 3,80 dan SDN ... sebesar 3,86 yang menunjukkan adanya peningkatan. Aspek keefektifan dilihat dari hasil belajar siswa dengan perhitungan normal gain SDN ... 2 sebesar 40,74 %, SDN ... 3 sebesar 43,30 % dan SDN ... sebesar 46,67 % termasuk kategori cukup efektif. Secara keseluruhan siswa disetiap sekolah memberi respon setuju dan respon guru sebesar 90,60 % termasuk kategori sangat efektif untuk diterapkan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran.

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model 4D Thiagarajan yang telah dimodifikasi menjadi 3D. Produk yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini adalah perangkat pembelajaran yang meliputi silabus, rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran, lembar kegiatan siswa, buku siswa, dan instrumen tes. Adapun tahapan yang dilalui dalam penelitian ini adalah tahapan Pendefinisian (define), perancangan (design), dan pengembangan (develop). Teknik pengumpulan data melalui teknik wawancara, obserasi, tes, dan nontes dengan alat pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar wawancara, lembar observasi, lembar validasi perangkat pembelajaran, lembar angket penanaman karakter, lembar pengamatan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dan evaluasi hasil belajar. Hasil uji coba dalam tahap pengembangan menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan valid, praktis, dan efektif. Kevalidan dan kepraktisan ditunjukkan oleh hasil validasi ahli yang menunjukkan nilai 4.46; sedangkan keefektifan pembelajaran ditunjukkan dengan penghitungan normal gain yang menunjukkan 48.8% siswa memperoleh nilai yang cukup efektif; nilai-nilai karakter dalam diri siswa menunjukkan kategori baik, serta respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran adalah positif dengan sebanyak 87.8% siswa menilai positif terhadap pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Adapun nilai-nilai karakter yang dikembangkan melalui perangkat pembelajaran IPA berbasis karakter ini adalah karakter religius, ingin tahu, menerima dan menghargai keberagaman pendapat, disiplin, tanggung jawab, kerja sama, teliti, dan peduli lingkungan.

This study describe about the case of a student named Sabila (name suppressed). Sabila is a student class II of SDN Cieunteung 1 who have learning difficulty to read. The study aims to determine and describe the factors that affect the learning difficulty to read experienced Sabila and how the learning achievement of Sabila. the research methode used is a case study. To obtain the data the researcher used multiple data collection techniques. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and study documentation. Research subject in this study is Sabila and the informants are Sabila, teacher, family’s Sabila, and friend’s Sabila. the results showed that the learning difficulty to read experienced Sabila as influenced by several factors. These factors are generally divided into internal factors and external factors. Internal factors consist of physical health of Sabila are often sick, lack of motivation, poor memory, and lack of attention or concentration, especially when learning.  The external factors include environmental factors family, school, and friends who lack support the learning process. Because Sabila have learning difficulty to read, learning achievement’s Sabila unsatisfaction results. It can be seen inreport book. Of the eleven subjects taught, only four subjects who meet the KKM (Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal), while the other seven subjects was less than KKM. So, Sabila can’t be able to ride third grade this year, because in addition she can not master the basic skills also feared she would be left behind from her friends. For it was recommended to all parties associated with Sabila like family, teachers and friends for mutual aid in overcoming learning difficulties experienced by Sabila.

This study describes the suitability of the learning styles of students cheating on their replay with activities of daily learning, in which learning style is focused on three learning styles Visual, auditory, or kinesthetic. Forum Elementary School fourth grade .............. Tasikmalaya District of Cihideung. Matching learning style and fit will make it easier to understand and absorb the lessons. And know when there are repeat students cheat due to the difficulty in doing the test questions. This suggests that students do not understand and absorb the lessons well. So in this study focused on analyzing the identified learning styles of students cheating on a test. The purpose of this study to determine the suitability of learning activities with students' learning styles tendency to absorb the lessons in order to provide a solution to the student to learn according to his style in order to make it easier to absorb the lessons. Also provide solutions that teachers do in an effort to confront diversity of student learning styles in the classroom in order to eliminate the cheating behavior of students. The research method used is a case study. The case study is a research method used to investigate the phenomenon in the context of real life. Data was collected by observation, questionnaires, and interviews for the three indicators of data collected. Because the case study should obtain evidence from two or more sources, but one with a set of facts or findings of the same, so it is not limited to a single source of evidence. Research results are generally identified students who cheat have a visual learning style, some students still learning activities appropriate to the learning styles, although there are already appropriate and even then not optimal, there are some characteristics that do not fit their learning styles with learning activity does. Then the teacher attempts to do is be creative in teaching teachers to always pay attention to the characteristics of the learning styles of each student in the class. So that it can facilitate the teacher in knowing the characteristics of the student is to test the student's learning style at the beginning of the school year in order to encourage students to more easily understand the lesson and understand each student's behavior that arise when learning in the classroom.

The study titled Effects of SAVI Learning Approach to Learning Outcomes Thematic Learning in the Primary School on the basis of a phenomenon that often occurs in the field is the lack of preparation of teachers in designing creative learning process, innovative and fun approach to learning using effective and appropriate media to characteristics of students. In addition, the learning process is focused on the concept of not understanding the concept of pronunciation, the learning process less maximize student activity so that students can not learn how to solve problems, think creatively, innovative, critical and systematic. The approach is suitable to overcome the perceived problems and needs to be investigated is the learning approach SAVI. This study was conducted to obtain information on the effect SAVI approach to learning on learning outcomes in thematic learning. This research was conducted in SDN and SDN Pasirmalang Bunisari Force 2 UPTD Cigalontang District of Tasikmalaya regency. The sampling technique used is saturated samples where the sample was taken 100% of the population that is numbered 65 students. After the data were obtained, processed and analyzed, the average value of pre-test control class reaches 42.81 (medium), while the average value of post test control class reaches 66.15 (high). Effectiveness of classroom learning control is less effective in the category. The average value of pre-test experimental class reaches 44.04 (medium), while the value of the average post-test experimental class reaches 79.70 (very high). The effectiveness of learning in the experimental class in the category are quite effective. There is a difference in student learning outcomes in the classroom learning control with experimental class. The average value of post test and normal average gain experimental class higher than the control class. From the t-test calculation found that the Sig. (two-tailed) or the significance of the two-party test of 0.000. Sig. The <α or Sig. <0.05, this means that there is a difference between the average value of the normal post-test and gain control class with a class experiment. By looking at the difference between student learning outcomes in learning without using SAVI approach to learning with student learning outcomes in learning using learning approach SAVI prove the influence of SAVI approach to learning on learning outcomes of the thematic learning.

Penelitian dengan judul Pengaruh Pendekatan Pembelajaran SAVI terhadap Hasil Belajar pada Pembelajaran Tematik di Sekolah Dasar dilakukan atas dasar fenomena yang sering terjadi di lapangan yaitu kurangnya persiapan guru dalam merancang proses pembelajaran yang kreatif, inovatif dan menyenangkan dengan menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran yang efektif dan media yang sesuai dengan karakteristik siswa. Selain itu, proses pembelajaran masih menekankan pada pelafalan konsep bukan pemahaman konsep, proses pembelajaran kurang memaksimalkan aktivitas siswa sehingga siswa tidak dapat belajar bagaimana cara memecahkan masalah, berpikir kreatif, inovatif, kritis dan sistematis. Pendekatan yang dirasakan cocok  untuk mengatasi permasalahan-permasalahan tersebut dan perlu diteliti adalah pendekatan pembelajaran SAVI. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memperoleh informasi mengenai pengaruh pendekatan pembelajaran SAVI terhadap hasil belajar pada pembelajaran tematik. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN Bunisari dan SDN ....................... UPTD Pendidikan Kecamatan Cigalontang Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah sampel jenuh dimana sampel diambil 100 % dari populasi yaitu berjumlah 65 siswa. Setelah data penelitian diperoleh, diolah dan dianalisis, nilai rata-rata pre test kelas kontrol mencapai 42,81 (sedang), sedangkan nilai rata-rata post test kelas kontrol mencapai 66,15 (tinggi). Efektivitas pembelajaran di kelas kontrol berada pada kategori kurang efektif. Nilai rata-rata pre test kelas eksperimen mencapai 44,04 (sedang), sedangkan nilai rata-rata post test kelas eksperimen mencapai 79,70 (sangat tinggi). Efektifitas pembelajaran di kelas eksperimen berada pada kategori cukup efektif. Terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran antara kelas kontrol dengan kelas eksperimen. Nilai rata-rata post test dan rata-rata normal gain kelas eksperimen yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol. Dari perhitungan uji-t diperoleh bahwa nilai Sig. (two tailed) atau signifikansi uji dua pihak sebesar 0,000. Nilai Sig. tersebut < α atau Sig. < 0,05, Ini berarti bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara nilai rata-rata post test dan normal gain kelas kontrol dengan kelas eksperimen. Dengan melihat perbedaan antara hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran tanpa menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran SAVI dengan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran yang menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran SAVI membuktikan adanya pengaruh dari pendekatan pembelajaran SAVI terhadap hasil belajar pada pembelajaran tematik di Sekolah Dasar.
